Semester II
Core studies:
To complete the MBA programme, it is necessary to successfully pass the graduation module, which consists of five graduation capstones. The purpose of the composite examinations is to assess the student's ability to integrate the knowledge and skills acquired in the core subjects of the MBA programme. The first year is summed up by completing the graduation module so that in the second year you can focus on improving your knowledge and skills in the chosen field. Study format:
Studies are in a session-based format, which allows to study without interrupting your professional life. Lectures and seminars take place every second week on Fridays and Saturdays between 10:00-17:15. As an exception, some lectures can take place on Thursdays.
The final schedule of the second year depends on the chosen microdegrees.
We have structured our master's programme in such a way that active learning takes place in the classroom through discussions, groupworks and practical tasks. Group dynamics and communication are an integral part of learning, and that's why we put a lot of emphasis on it. In between meetings, you need to contribute to your studies by preparing for lectures or seminars.
On successful completion of this programme, the participant will be expected to obtain the following:
Knowledge and understanding:
- Know how to manage and develop organisations in the context of global and regional economy;
- Know the management challenges and the impact that arises from the environment, financial performance and technological development of the organisation;
- Understand the importance and applicability of management data sufficiently to make informed and objective management decisions;
- Be familiar with the models and methods of the strategic and innovation management of a company or an organisation;
- Know the most recent digital and business technologies and be able to analyse technological challenges and opportunities leading to the company’s or organisation’s growth and efficiency;
Skills:
- Apply knowledge and understanding of systematically turning theory into practice to solve complex issues and raise organisational competitiveness;
- Apply problem-based thinking and decision-making, judging the effectiveness of solutions in the completion of tasks and simulations based on practical real-life cases;
- Communicate effectively both in individual and team-based situations;
- Have experience in team work and leading a team by participating in team-based practical studies;
Values and attitudes:
- Demonstrate an ethical approach to working, managing and leading in a variety of situations;
- Demonstrate self-confidence and awareness when applying the skills and knowledge gained in the programme;
